Videography Overview
The program is being comprehensively designed for 5 weeks beginning with the introduction of camera settings & lenses followed by the lighting set up used for variety of purpose afterwards we’ll discover creative shooting techniques with the utility of basic gears (Gimbal, Slider, External Ninja Recorder) & finally the clips shot so far will be edited in post-production with the variety of tools & techniques.

Who can apply?
A person should have valid 10th or 12th Passing certificate with an average of 50% or higher marks.
Learning Path
Week 1– CAMERA & ITS UNDERSTANDING
We’ll begin with a systematic learning approach starting with understanding basic camera settings required for videography, Aspect ratio & it’s impact on frame size on different social media platforms (16:9, 9:16, 1:1) then moving on to compose a shot with a variety of principles, angles and storytelling techniques. We’ll also help you understand the utility of prime, zoom & special lens as per the given situation to help you become not only a videographer but a smart videographer.
Week 2- VIDEOGRAPHY LIGHTING TECHNIQUES
This week will cover the 3 key technical parameters essential for shooting a cinematic video- starting with understanding different lighting set ups required for TV show anchoring, News reading & BTS video shoots then moving on to efficient setting up of sound recording devices i.e lapel mic & shotgun microphone & finally we’ll wrap the week with a understanding of different focusing methods-Manual & Auto.
Week 3– CREATIVE SHOOTING TECHNIQUES
Start shooting like a pro with the practical understanding of using green screen technology & post production technique for compositing 2 visuals together. Afterwards the participants will also explore the advantage of digital technology for shooting double role & the utility of basic gears used for videography (Tripods, Gimbal & Sliders).
Week 4-FUNDAMENTAL OF VIDEO EDITING
This week will cover the key fundamentals of editing a video like organising your footage, understanding when to use variety of shots like Establishing, Close up, Two shot, low & high angle. Afterwards you’ll be familiarised of making a timeline according to the shooting format & the utility of essential tools for managing exposure, brightness, contrast & much more.
Week 5- SHOT CUTTING & COLOR CORRECTION
Here you’ll understand the variety of shot cutting techniques like match cut, jump cut, J & L cut then moving forward with the thorough knowledge of when to use the right transitions for variety of purpose, imposing text- Aston & L-Bands, basic color correction techniques & finally preparing the master cut of the entire video.

Yes, we will be providing the basic understanding of editing the video footage.
We have both weekday as well as weekend batches available for the program, the participant can enroll for the same as per their convenience.
The concepts for the videography course are to be explained with respect to the DSLR/Mirrorless camera only.
To apply for the course, the participant needs to have at least a 10th passing certificate & a valid identification proof (Aadhaar Card/ Driving license) to apply for the program.
Some factors that give us an edge over others are highly experienced trainers, high-end studio set-up, and top infrastructural facilities. We have a practical approach and offer individual attention to our students in the institute. We try to make education fun for the students by providing them with sufficient opportunities for growth.
The students must have a DSLR/ Mirrorless camera during the training program. The rest of the things will be taken care of by our institute.
We have only limited backup classes for our students. If students have genuine reasons for missing the class and submit a request paper in advance, they can access a backup class.
